Heavenly chocolate macarons

Last night I made macarons. I've wanted to try this for a long time, but was hesitant. Well, let me tell you, these are so much fun to make! Watching them form their cute little domes in the oven, and then assembling them into their adorable bundles... it's all so satisfying and quaint. Plus I had Edith Piaf playing in the background, which really set the Parisian mood. And guess what, they tasted delicious too.
Oh-la-la!
(I used this David Lebovitz recipe)

I love making them too! The recipe I use calls for the oven door to be open, which I loved!

well thank you! In truth, they were slightly undercooked, but they were still very tasty. I'm definitely going to try them again, with some new flavours.

Ah they look so perfect. I'd love to make them but I dont know if they'd turn out right because I've never had them.
