Snapshots from the Great North

Picking arctic blueberries (they grow right in the ground moss)

Hey there, baby beluga!

The skies are so beautiful up here when the sun comes out

And the sunsets spectacular.

We've been up in Kuujjuaq for 2 weeks now, but as beautiful as it is up here,
I really miss Montreal.
10 days left until we head home!

Was it the Raffi song? I've had it in my head ever since I saw the little guy!

Great photos!! :) Hope your last 10 days are just as enjoyable.

Just a quick question, what type of camera did you use to snap these? I'm in the market for a camera good for blogging. You can leave a message anywhere on my blog or email me at Arpita.Monahan@Gmail.com if you get a chance. :)

Your pix here are so beautiful. Somehow, this region attracts me, when i see it here - maybe because i'm up for some solitude. Would love to be there and write a book!

I love the baby beluga shot! It looks fascinating. I have spent a lot of time in the NWT and the Yukon but never that far north. The whale siting must have been a thrill!
