Have a glorious autumn weekend!

Today is the first day of fall, and it feels right to move on.
We've been on vacation for the past 2 weeks, and it's time for us to move on as well.

Today we start the big drive back up north
We've been living in the north for just under 3 months now, and so far it's been wonderful.... but so far it's been summer up there. I have to say, I'm a little worried about this inevitable winter that is coming. How am I going to survive 6 months of minus 30 to minus 50 degree weather? (likely a lot of tropical vacations!)
I'll keep you posted.

Happy Autumn everyone.

I'm cold just thinking about -50 temperatures! I hope you've stocked up on layers, blankets, slippers, wool socks, thick boots, longjohns? and other things to help you.

happy autumn to you, too. I'm debating to move to Canada, but the winters there are a concern. there is something romantic about snow and hot tea and reading books in front of an open fire... but six months is an awfully long time....

do you have a fire place at your house? that would be super cozy in that cold weather!!!

I moved further north to be with my {cv} and though the cold and I don't agree, just having him close by does ;) happy fall--and best of luck in the oncoming cold! We will survive! xoxo {av}

Hope you had a fantastic vacation! I've been feeling the the dread of winter around the corner too and it doesn't quite get that cold in Edmonton!! Lots of tea, warm boots, and parkas! Your internet connection is still good up there too, right!??

When you said up north, I thought St-Sauveur or Tremblant but you're really up north! Looks like a beautiful place to live and what an adventure.
