After a relaxing weekend and a lot of fresh air, I am feeling much better now.
Thank you for your words of encouragement last week.
This weekend was filled with a different kind of blue...
I love berry season up north. There's something so grounding about foraging for your food in the wild, and then storing it away for the winter.
You know, like a squirrel!
I wasn't sure how berry picking would go this year with Zac in my arms (compared to last year when he was in my belly!), but he once again surprised me with incredibly cooperative behaviour. I just sat him down on the mossy ground with a pile of blueberries in front of him, and he just pigged out to his heart's content!
Seriously, he ate them almost as fast as I could pick them.
^^ we picked the first wild cranberries of the season too ^^
One thing I've learned about my boy is that he sure loves hanging out with other people.
He is just fascinated but others. Which makes me think that maybe I'm worrying for nothing and he may actually like daycare after all.
I hope you had a lovely weekend too.
