The Quintessential Canadian Experience

Sorry for being MIA the last 2 days, but I've been camping deep in the Canadian wilderness, in Algonquin Provincial Park. I'm back in my apartment now smelling of camp fire and earth. I have so much to catch up on, but here are a few pictures from my serene escape into the wild.

THIS is what Canada is all about, my friends. Yes, we have cool cities and great restaurants, but our wilderness, our nature, that is what truly defines us.
While I was out there I kept thinking about this beautiful quote...
There is pleasure in the pathless woods;
There is rapture on the lonely shore;
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.
— Lord Byron
