Simple Mornings, Simple Breakfasts



A ray of sunlight

a wholesome breakfast of seeds & fruit.

I love simple mornings.

These breakfast granola bars are so yummy and so full of goodness & vitality. All that seed power will get you through the even craziest of work mornings.

Breakfast Granola Bars

2 cups rolled oats
1 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp baking powder
5 Tbs sesame seeds
1/4 cup flax seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2/3 cup butter
2/3 cup honey
3 eggs, mixed


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Melt the butter & honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Toss all the other ingredients together, except for the eggs. Then mix in the honey/butter and then the eggs. 
Press into baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through & golden brown.

Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
Enjoy!

    The camera is a canon xs, it's an entry level SLR camera and I think it's a fabulous choice for beginner photographers. It serves all my needs anyway : )
