Holiday Shopping & Some Retail Therapy

What's a week of R&R in Florida without some retail therapy?! 
Here are a few of my recent purchases that somehow snuck their way into my life, in between Christmas shopping for others of course ; )
This tweed mini from J.Crew (the picture doesn't actually do it justice in my opinion... it fits gorgeously!)

 These lovely Seychelles on sale for 40$

and this adorable tank from Anthropologie.

And speaking of Christmas.... 

I find it so weird to see Christmas decorations in Florida among the palm trees and warm weather. Coming from Canada, Christmas equals winter to me. plain & simple.
What about you... would you ever spend Christmas in the tropics? Or if you live in a hot climate, do you ever long for the snow in December?

    My husband's parents live in Florida, so when we visit for the holidays, it is always a bit strange to wear a sundress around the dinner table! I like a COLD climate Christmas!

    I went to Mexico the week before Christmas a couple years ago. It was so awesome to lay out and get a tan...then return to Seattle for snow on the ground. I loved it!

    That is a gorgeous mini.. JCrew does them so well! Years ago we spent Christmas in South Carolina ( my hubby played hockey there ) as a Canadian girl it was SO weird to see lights and lawn ornaments with no snow. Sorta cracked me up :) xoxo

    Man, having a shopping ban on myself is horrible.
