Weekend Moments: Easter in Toronto

We had a lovely Easter in Toronto with my in-laws. The weather was unexpectedly gorgeous, and the food was obscenely indulgent, as it always is there.
My cup is now full, and so is my belly... I swear I will never need to eat again.

Of course there was an easter egg hunt... although kind of ridiculous... aside from the two teenage girls in the family, the average age in this easter egg hunt was around 28!

And now it's back to the grindstone. My licensing exam is 4 days away and I will be studying like crazy until then. Wish me luck!

Haha, it's always fun to have grown up easter egg hunts. I didn't do anything for Easter - my family is so far away. Good luck on your exam!

You look so cozy and cute studying in the window there! Best of luck to you, but judging by how skillfully you blog (and with flair), you'll do really well I'm sure, and don't need my luck... but break a leg anyway!

Good luck on your exam! So close!

Also, I love when traditions from childhood continue on into adulthood. The easter egg hunt may seem silly, but it's so nostalgic as well. When I was in preschool, we made candle holders for a birthday candle for baby Jesus, and my parents started a tradition of singing happy birthday to Jesus every Christmas morning. It was embarassing to introduce my husband to this tradition when he first joined my family for Christmas when we were in our mid-20's... but there is something cute and sentimental about it, too!
